Let’s Get Back To it…

For a long time, Feel Good RVA has been working in the community and behind the scenes to connect individuals not only with each other, but with resources and information needed to nurture their personal healing journeys. Though sometimes the road to figuring out the execution is bumpy, we take pride in being a hub for support and encouragement.

Reflecting on past years and intentionally brainstorming about what’s in store for the future, we have decided to get back to some of the roots of FGRVA. This platform began with pursuit of a simple mission, based on connection and support within our community in Richmond, Virginia. That meant and still means helping bridge gaps by uplifting local resources and art & wellness events. We plan to continue this with even more intentionality and organization than before.

A core value of FGRVA, is the belief that “knowledge is power”. Simply put – you are better equipped to navigate healing and self-care when you know what’s going on with yourself. Sometimes we experience things that we don’t have a name or word for, & that can feel really lonely and confusing. Identifying emotions, experiences and common occurrences can often be the catalyst to also identifying what you need to feel good.

Over the last 7 years, Feel Good RVA has become well known for our events, workshops and collaborations. After a rough trial run of our first Richmond mental health week, we decided to take a step back and regroup on what event planning and facilitation will look like moving forward. We plan to continue bringing you curated spaces that combine good vibes and resources but on a smaller scale in more intimate venues. We will also present options for virtual meet ups that allow more accessibility for those who may struggle with transportation, scheduling and health restrictions.

We are so excited for a new chapter and

getting back into being more engaged with our community in RVA!

Ideas and suggestions for collaborations and content are always welcome!
