AdmireTheWriter

For those of you that don’t know me personally, I am Brittany. I’m 26, a mom, an Aries, I love seafood and my favorite color is probably somewhere right in between green and blue. I graduated from Tucker High School in Henrico, Virginia and from Hermitage Technical Center with a NOCTI certification in Floral Design and Plant Sciences (which I have never put to use professionally). I was first diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression when I was about 12 or 13. My emotions have been a blessing and curse for as long as I can remember. I’ve often felt lost in what my calling is in life and within the last year, I’ve finally realized at least the general direction. Baby steps, you have to start somewhere…right? So, my first step is acknowledging that I want to help people, in a sense of educating those my age in matters of mental health, self-love, self-care, and personal spirituality. Next was figuring out how to do that, how do I reach people? And who would have thought my little tucked away online diary would become the perfect outlet.

I started “blogging” back in high school, it was a nice release to get my emotions out somewhere in the open but more personal than social media with less pressure than therapy, and thats when AdmireTheWriter was born. I stuck with that for a while before I decided to start a new chapter with Where Do I Go From Here, and after also keeping that kind of private for a while… I decided to bring my writing to the light. The reception has been so much better than I could have imagined, knowing people relate to what I’m saying means the world to me, if I can touch your soul and make you feel something, learn something, or better understand something I’ve done my job. My goal is to create a movement of solace. A safe place for creatives, 20-somethings, parents, and more. I’m hopeful to make a difference in my community by embracing healthier mental and emotional statuses as well as advocating for suicide prevention. Everyone has their own personal battles that make you who you are, I want you to know you’re not alone and the things that make you different are something to be embraced. I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve received so far and I hope you all stay linked in with me for this journey.

I have an exciting announcement coming to you over the next week, I ask that you stay tuned in with me and follow my project instagram @TheGreatestBritt_

If you have a creative outlet and would like to collaborate with me on a project please feel free to reach out to me via phone, email, or social media!
