Hello Everyone!

Thank you for joining us!

Words cannot begin to express the excitement we have for everything that we have in store for you. We have so many ideas and a great amount of support from our great city. A big part of our mission is to give you all something to relate to in this chaotic life. A little safe haven, where you can see there are other adults out there questioning themselves in the same light that you are. We want to encourage you all to love and care for yourselves, we only get this life once! Lets grow to be better in every way, mentally, emotionally & physically.

We also want to create a platform that encourages more positivity, support, and healthy mentalities within artistry. Our city has such a beautiful creative community, we want to embrace that as much as possible. Keep doing what you do, even when it gets hard.

We hope you’ll find something here that helps you grow as person, that brings a smile to your face after a rough day, something that makes you cry but in a good way and most of all we hope to adventure and discover together.

Have fun exploring & know how grateful we are for the support!

Your neighborhood FGRVA Team

More about the creator

For those of you that don’t know me personally, I am Brittany. I am a mother, an Aries and an empath. I love seafood and my favorite color is probably somewhere right in between green and blue with a constant love for pink. I graduated from Tucker High School in Henrico, Virginia and from Hermitage Technical Center with a NOCTI certification in Floral Design and Plant Sciences (which I have never put to use professionally). I was first diagnosed with Anxiety and Depression when I was about 12 or 13. My emotions have been a blessing and curse for as long as I can remember. I’ve often felt lost in what my calling is in life and within recent years, I’ve finally realized at least the general direction. Baby steps, you have to start somewhere…right? So, my first step is acknowledging that I want to help people, in a sense of educating those my age in matters of mental health, self-love, self-care, and personal spirituality. Next was figuring out how to do that, how do I reach people? And who would have thought my little tucked away online diary would become the perfect outlet.

I started “blogging” back in high school, it was a nice release to get my emotions out somewhere in the open but more personal than social media with less pressure than therapy, and that’s when AdmireTheWriter was born. I stuck with that for a while before I decided to start a new chapter with Where Do I Go From Here, and after also keeping that kind of private for a while… I decided to bring my writing to the light. The reception has been so much better than I could have imagined, knowing people relate to what I’m saying means the world to me, if I can touch your soul and make you feel something, learn something, or better understand something I’ve done my job. My goal is to create a movement of solace, mental peace. A safe place for creatives, 20-somethings, parents, and more. I’m hopeful to make a difference in my community by embracing healthier mental and emotional statuses as well as advocating for suicide prevention. Everyone has their own personal battles that make you who you are, I want you to know you’re not alone and the things that make you different are something to be embraced. I’m so thankful for all the support I’ve received so far and to now have an established team is a beautiful thing. It’s truly a blessing to work alongside people who are as passionate for FGRVA as I am! Thank you to them and you for all the love through the growth!
